Extraordinary. Who Are We Thanks to History?

How does the past help us build our identity and understand the present? History never begins with great events. It begins with a person - with their choices, values and the courage to do something that seems more important than their own peace of mind.

This was also true during the Greater Poland Uprising. It wasn’t won by the heroes we see on monuments, but by the people of Greater Poland - young people, parents, craftsmen, railway workers, teachers and entrepreneurs. Each of them had their own lives, plans and dreams.
