BitterSweet Festival announces more acts. Global artists coming to Poznań!

It’s time for another chapter of sweet and bitter stories. BitterSweet Festival has just unveiled five more artists who will perform this August at Cytadela Park in Poznań. Joining the already announced Gorillaz and Twenty One Pilots are Lorde, Tom Odell, Charlotte Cardin, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Meute. The three-day festival will take place from August 13 to 15, 2026. The musical summer is starting to take shape, and the BitterSweet 2 line-up is gaining real momentum. Among today’s announcements are some of the biggest names in global music, long-awaited returns to Poznań, and a blend of nostalgia, melancholy, and genre diversity – allembedded in the DNA of the festival.

Baby, what is that? Lorde and Tom Odell in Poznań!

Just a few days ago, while closing her show at Atlas Arena in Łódź, she promised she would return to Poland soon. And she’s keeping her word – Lorde is coming back to Poland to perform at BitterSweet Festival on August 13, 2026. When she released “Pure Heroine” in 2013, the music world shifted – redefining modern pop. More than a decade later, she remains one of the most compelling voices of her generation, continuously surprising, provoking, and captivating with a sensitivity where softness meetsedge. Broadcast of the boom, boom, boom – coming to Poznań this August.

This artist is already well known to the Poznań audience – Tom Odell returns after eight years! This August at Cytadela, thousands of voices will sing “today is the best day of my life,” because few artists capture emotion quite like Tom. His music balances raw vulnerability with hope, placing the piano at the heart of deeply personal, bittersweet pop songs. He will take the stage in Poznań on August 14.

The perfect mix – Thursday in the best rhythm

The phenomenal Charlotte Cardin is finally coming to Poland. Her angelic voice and talent – recognized by critics worldwide since her very first release – will shine on the BitterSweet 2 stage. Her debut album earned critical acclaim, and her 2023 release “99 Nights” confirmed her ability to create the ultimate summer soundtracks. Honest, bold, and effortlessly blending genres, her August 13 performance will be a dreamy journey through soulful pop.

From iconic Berlin clubs and the world’s biggest festivals to Cytadela Park – Paul Kalkbrenner is coming to Poznań. A living legend of electronic music, his performances are immersive, emotional spectacles. His tracks have dominated charts for years, and his influence spansgenerations of electronic artists.

11 musicians, 11 instruments, and a genre of their own – Meute prove that music is, above all, about joy. Combining talent with a bold concept, they have built a global following with performances in extraordinary locations – from clubs to rooftops, train stations, and city centers. This is still just the beginning of the line-up announcements for the Poznań event. It’s worth following the festival’s Instagram and TikTok channels to stay up to date with further news and surprises – including unconventional announcement formats. Earlier this week, the festival shared an artwork by Poznań-based artist Tommy Pieńczak, filled with visual clues referencing the newly announced artists. Fans quickly decoded the puzzle – generating over 1,000 comments in record time. Even before the official reveal, the post had already surpassed 300,000 views.

BitterSweet 2 is coming!

Lorde, Tom Odell, Charlotte Cardin, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Meute officially join the previously announced Gorillaz and Twenty One Pilots. Gorillaz will headline the first day of the festival (August 13), while Twenty One Pilots will perform on the second day (August 14). The third headliner has not yet been revealed.

BitterSweet Festival debuted in 2025, attracting nearly 70,000 attendees and earning recognition for its open, vibrant atmosphere and fresh approach.
