10 New Artists Join BitterSweet 2 line-up. Over 35 acts confirmed so far!

Less than 100 days until the second edition BitterSweet Festival, it’s the perfect moment to reveal the names of 10 new artists and unveil the full line-up for three of the four festival stages, which will take over Cytadela Park in Poznań, Poland on August 13–15. Joining the line-up are Max Baby, In Parallel, Bricknasty, maks.tachasiuk, Ebbb, ZEP, MYD, Borderline and MPH, who will perform on the Next Stage, as well as Sophia Stel, who joins one of the festival’s main stages. Festival passes and single-day tickets are available at bittersweetfestival.pl.

The third stage of BitterSweet 2 – Next Stage – is dedicated to those who seek freshness at major festivals, love discovering new artists, and appreciate bold, unconventional booking choices. This is not a stage for newcomers – it’s a platform for artists already making waves in their home countries and increasingly stepping onto international stages.

A Stage for Discoverers – 9 Artists from 5 Countries

Max Baby, by NME named as one of the most exciting debut acts to watch in 2026, will perform in Poznań on August 15. The French multi-instrumentalist refuses to confine his music to one category. His sound is a meeting point between post-modern indie, alternative rock and electronic music.

In Parallel’s debut single “Now It’s Gone” spent 22 consecutive weeks on the UK charts. What does music created by a duo raised on club culture sound like? A nostalgia-soaked journey through dance music. The duo will perform at BitterSweet 2 on Friday, August 14.

Formed during the pandemic, Bricknasty have become one of the most talked-about acts on the Irish music scene. Following performances at Glastonbury and support slots for Kneecap, they now head to BitterSweet 2 for a Thursday show. Their music blends gritty, soulful hip-hop with a jazz heart and deeply chilled-out vibes – a melting pot of rap, psychedelia and ‘90s garage influences.

Named one of the 10 biggest discoveries in Polish music in 2025, and now returning to Poznań’s Cytadela as the winner of the NEXT FEST Music Showcase & Conference award, maks.tachasiuk becomes the only Polish artist joining the Next Stage line-up. His music is emotionally rich, minimalist and deeply personal, combining singer-songwriter intimacy with genre-blurring production.

Ebbb thrive on plot twists, pulsating rhythms, layered vocal harmonies and beats balancing between ambient and industrial music. Returning to Poznań, they will perform at BitterSweet 2 on August 14. Their live shows are electrifying and hypnotic, while the band describes their sound as “Brian Wilson meets Death Grips.”

Controlled chaos and viral compositions – that’s ZEP, who will perform at BitterSweet 2 on August 13. The Netherlands-based artist merges breakbeat, club music and high-energy rock performance into a boundary-pushing live experience. With his career rapidly gaining momentum, the upcoming EP “No Enemies” is set to further strengthen his position on the European alternative electronic scene.

When a sense of humor meets music, the explosive result is something only MYD can truly master. The French artist will perform on the Next Stage on Saturday, August 15. His music is a kaleidoscope of emotions, vocal hooks and club euphoria, where fun always takes center stage.

Melodic indie-pop driven by emotional lyrics and unmistakable ‘80s influences – that’s the sound of Borderline, bringing their New Zealand energy to the Next Stage on Saturday, August 15. It will be a chance to experience a group of friends steadily conquering global stages. In their home country, they are nominated for major music awards – competing in the same category as Lorde.

From sharing stages with Fred Again and Swedish House Mafia to performing at BitterSweet 2? Absolutely. MPH joins the artists playing the Next Stage on Thursday, August 13. Expect an intense and exhilarating encounter with UK garage and drum & bass from an artist who has already appeared at Glastonbury and Coachella, and who British media describe as a pioneer of the new UKG era.

The Cherry on Top – Sophia Stel Joins the Line-Up

Independent, uncompromising and strikingly expressive, Sophia Stel continues to win over larger audiences through honesty and a deeply personal approach to music. She will perform at BitterSweet 2 on August 13. Her music fuses underground culture with the raw sincerity of indie rock, leaving a lasting impression. The voice of a generation? That’s what they say — now it’s time to find out. I’m tortured, you love it, you hate it…

Sophia Stel joins the artists performing on the festival’s main stages on August 13. That day at Cytadela Park will also feature performances by Gorillaz, Lorde, Becky Hill, Charlie Jeer, Charlotte Cardin, Jessie J, Meute and Paul Kalkbrenner, alongside newly announced Next Stage artists ZEP, Bricknasty and MPH.

It’s Not Over Yet! BitterSweet 2 Keeps the Surprises Coming

The announcement of 10 additional artists coincides with the official sell-out of single-day tickets for the festival’s second day – Friday, August 14. This sales success, reflecting the trust of festivalgoers and the impact of last year’s highly praised debut edition, does not mean BitterSweet 2 is slowing down.

There are still more surprises and musical announcements waiting in the wings. Even with the line-up for the two main stages and the complete Next Stage reveal now confirmed, this is still not everything awaiting attendees of the second edition of the Poznań festival.

Festival fans are encouraged to follow BitterSweet Festival on Instagram and TikTok to stay up to date with all announcements.
