What is BitterSweet Festival?

BitterSweet Festival is a three-day event built on nostalgia. A year-long journey that we create together. Over 40 artists across multiple stages, an international line-up, and countless unforgettable experiences.

When and where does BitterSweet Festival take place?

BitterSweet Festival will take place 13-15th August 2026 in Cytadela Park in Poznan, Poland. The exact address is: aleja Armii Poznan, 61-001 Poznań. Check on the map.

Is BitterSweet an outdoor festival?

Yes, it is an outdoor festival so please be prepared for changing weather conditions – extreme heat (SPF, lightweight headwear), colder nights (warm clothing), rainy days (raincoat, waterproof footwear). Please do not bring umbrellas with a metal end.

Why should I join the BitterSweet Club?

The BitterSweet Club is an online community whose members receive festival first hand updates, announcements about accompanying events, lineup updates, and ticket tier changes. Everyone can join by subscribing to the newsletter on https://bittersweetfestival.pl/.

Tickets and registration

What ticket options are available?

3-day passes and 1-day tickets are available.

Can I return or exchange my ticket?

Cancelling the order or returning an already bought ticket can be possible only if the festival is postponed or cancelled by the promoter.

Are the tickets personalized?

3-day and 1-day tickets are not personalized. The information displayed on the ticket refers the buyer only.

Information for people with disabilities

A person with a disability can attend the festival with a caregiver using a single ticket. The ticket cannot be a discounted ticket; a regular ticket must be purchased from the currently available ticket tier. Discount for children aged 7-12 and people aged 60+

Children age 7–12 and adults age 60 and over are eligible to purchase a ticket with a 50% discount. The discount is applied to the ticket price from the currently available pool. The participants’ age must be confirmed with an identification document at the entrance.

Participation of children up to 6 years of age

Children under the age of 6 can attend the event for free under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who holds a valid ticket.

Does the ticket allow entrance to all festival-related events, or do I have to pay additionally for any attractions?

The ticket/festival pass allows the participants to access any attractions in the festival area.

Arrival and accommodation

How to get to the festival grounds?

We suggest using public transport – both to reach the city and communicate around it.

Are there accommodation options (camping sites) on the festival grounds?

There will be no camping site on the festival grounds but there’s a so-called BitterSweet Camp campsite at Scout Camp Poznań. All details available on https://bittersweetcamp.pl/

Food and drinks

Will there be a food court at the festival area?

There will be various culinary options, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages to choose from. Please keep in mind that only cashless payments are accepted in the festival area

Can individuals with medical conditions, such as diabetes, bring medications, necessary medical supplies, or food?

Bringing food suitable for specific dietary needs is allowed only upon presenting the appropriate medical documentation.

Safety and regulations

What are the festival’s safety guidelines?

Take care of your safety and the comfort of other festival-goers. Follow the regulations, adhere to the guidelines of the onsite staff, and stay updated with our on-screen announcements and official app notifications.

Will there be security and medical points at the festival?

The festival is fully equipped with medical and emergency services. Security personnel will ensure the safety of all attendees.

Weather and preparation

What should I wear and bring to the festival?

Since it is an outdoor festival, prepare for changing weather conditions. Bring sunscreen and a hat for hot days, warm clothing for chilly evenings, and raincoats or waterproof shoes for rainy weather.

Can I take photos and videos at the festival?

Of course! We encourage you to capture precious memories. If you’re a professional photographer, contact us for the necessary photo pass. Professional photography and videography equipment are not allowed without prior approval.

Can I pay by card at the festival?

Yes, you can pay with a card, phone, or BLIK.

Can I pay in cash at the festival?

No, cash payments will not be accepted. Please use a card, phone, or BLIK for transactions.
