Transport

Cytadela Park, where the festival takes place, is located a short distance from the centre of Poznań, with several tram and bus stops in the surrounding area. We encourage you to get to us on foot or by public transport. Together with ZTM, we have prepared several transport improvements for you to make the journey to the festival as enjoyable as the festival itself.

FREE PUBLIC TRANSPORT

On 13–15 August, between 13:00 and 4:00, festival-goers can use public transport (trams and buses) free of charge – upon presenting a BitterSweet Festival wristband or ticket* (paper or PDF on your phone).

*in the case of a one-day ticket, the free journey is valid only on that day

Additionally:

  • dedicated festival tram line no. 30 / 15:00–2:30 / every 10 minutes / Armii Poznań stop
  • extended operating hours of tram line no. 3 / 23:00–2:30 / every 30 minutes / Armii Poznań stop
  • night bus line no. 201 will run twice as frequently / 23:00–2:30 / every 15 minutes / Słowiańska stop

Armii Poznań tram stop:

  • dedicated festival line no. 30
  • line no. 3 (will run longer than usual, 23:00-2:30, every 30 minutes), as well as 4 and 10

Słowiańska tram stop:

  • lines 12, 14, 15, 16
  • night line no. 201 (will run twice as frequently as usual, 23:00-2:30, every 15 minutes)

Garbary PKM bus stop

  • lines 160, 163, 167, 174, 176, 190, 603, 911
  • night lines 214, 220, 221, 224

KISS & RIDE

The Kiss & Ride zone is a place where someone can drop you off or where you can arrange return transport. On 14–16.08, it will be located along Kutrzeby Street and Północna Street:

This is the closest place to Cytadela where cars will be able to pull up.

FESTIVAL PARKING

There will be no possibility to park a car in the vicinity of Cytadela – please use the festival car parks in the city centre.

SCOOTERS

You will also find scooters from our partner Lime near the Festival Centre.

Free ride code: BITTERLIME26 (2 rides of 15 minutes each). The code will only be active in Poznań from 13–16.08.

TRAFFIC ORGANISATION DURING THE FESTIVAL

During the festival, temporary changes to traffic organisation will apply in the immediate vicinity of Cytadela. To make everyday life easier for local residents, we have prepared access permits allowing entry into restricted areas.

entry to Winogrady Street closed from the intersection with Armii Poznań Avenue and from the direction of Pułaskiego Street

entry to the western part of Za Cytadelą Street, from Kmieca Street to Armii Poznań Avenue, only from the intersection with Kmieca Street and exclusively for residents with an access permit provided by the Organiser
